Aliens: Fireteam Elite guide and walkthrough – Tips for beginners: gameplay basics, classes, and how many missions in the game

Aliens: Fireteam Elite takes place in the iconic Alien universe, in which our battle-hardened band of marines embarks on a desperate battle to contain the evolving threat of the xenomorphs.

Gameplay Basics

Fireteam Elite’s gameplay is divided into four campaigns, each with three missions. You complete each mission in a group of three, whether it’s an online match or a team of friends. You can also play solo with two AI companions, although this is not recommended for higher difficulty levels.

Each mission takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and is designed to be replayed multiple times.

Throughout each mission, you will complete team challenges, battling waves of dangerous xenomorphs and synths. In all, you will encounter more than 20 types of enemies, including 11 different xenomorphs.

List of classes in Aliens: Fireteam Elite

You can choose from five different classes for yourself, each with their own advantages that increase your entire squad’s chances of mission success. The list includes:
Shooter
Destroyer
Technician
Medic
Scout
As you play more of each class, you’ll level up and unlock new skills to use in combat. And since missions are designed to be played multiple times, we highly recommend experimenting with different team compositions and finding the one that works best for you. You can even unlock challenge maps to modify mission conditions and add various modifiers to keep things interesting.
