Here are all the combat controls that you will need to know in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom:
1. Movement: Use the left joystick on your controller to move your character around.
2. Shield: Use the left trigger on your controller to raise your shield, which can block attacks from enemies.
3. Attack: There are two types of attacks you can perform – light attack and heavy attack. You can use “Y” button for light attack- this move allows you to quickly strike enemies with your weapon, while heavy attack (hold Y button) deals more damage but takes longer time than light attacks
4. Dodge/Roll: Press “A” button for rolling or dodge maneuvering about enemy’s attacks when needed.
5. Parry/Flurry Rush: If an enemy launches an especially fierce blow toward you that cannot be dodged or avoided by conventional means, pressing A button just as it lands triggers a parry move which if successful provides opportunity for flurry rush moves in attacking back.
6. Aim/Shoot fire arrows/Shoot regular arrows: Press and hold “ZR” button to aim with bow and then press “L” / “R” buttons according whichever arrow type equiped- while release ZR will shoot arrow towards enemy targeting..
7.Run/Climb/Swim/Movement Actions(Gliding/Bar Dangling)-These Combat mechanisms are self explanatory really so we wont delve too deep here.
