You want to change your hair style in Cyberpunk 2077, but you don’t know if you can do it after creating your character. This guide has the answer to that question, as well as tips for customizing your character’s hair.
The hair customization in Cyberpunk 2077 is impressive, with many detailed styles and color options. Players can be completely wild or natural to better match their character’s personality. Once the game begins, however, it becomes unclear how to change your haircut. Is there a hairdresser in the game? Here’s how to change the style and color of V’s haircut in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to change your haircut and color in Cyberpunk 2077
Unfortunately in Cyberpunk 2077, you can’t change your haircut or hair color yet. As of this writing, there is no other way to change V’s hairstyle outside of the character creation screen. There are no barbers or hairdressers in or outside of Knight City, and there is no way for Vee to get a haircut.
This seems like a bit of an oversight in a game that otherwise provides so many opportunities for personalization throughout the game. From clothing to weapons, players can immerse themselves in different outfits and looks. The haircuts remain the same.
For those players who really want to change V’s hairstyle, the new game is the only sure thing. Fortunately, the ability to create different characters with multiple save files makes it easy to try something new without completely overwriting the main playthrough.
This does sound like a feature that developer CD Projekt RED will eventually add in a post-launch update. Having seen support for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its various free patches and paid expansions, if anyone can add “Barber DLC,” it should be CDPR.
Genital customization is another unique addition to the Cyberpunk 2077 character creation screen. Do the different genital choices affect gameplay or story? We answer in a separate guide.
