We will go to the server Bark (Blighted Wilds), following the logic that the preview of the event does not really want to stand in queues and usually all will go to the first and last servers, and the server Bark has a simple, sweaty name and is in the middle of the list.
Before making a decision, you should know how to classify servers. Some players tend to rate servers depending on where more people play. But the only correct method to rank servers is to look at the delay (PING). If you want to enjoy the game and have equal chances with all other players, you have to make a decision ONLY based on latency numbers.
The main rule is: the lower the ping, the better.
Imagine that you live in the USA, but for some reason you choose a server in Europe. All European servers will be filled with European players, and you will have to constantly play with or against them. But the problem is that their ping will be about 70 – 80 ms, while your ping will be over 250 ms. Your European rivals will receive all in-game data 2 – 3 times faster than you! This means that they will always have more time to react.
That’s why you should look at the list of New World servers and find the server with the lowest PING. Fortunately, the game shows the delay for each server and you have all the information to make a good choice.
Do not forget that you can not move your character from one world to another. This choice is permanent. The only way to change the server is to create a new character!
See you in the game!
