Completing the Ride the Giant Horse quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom can be quite challenging, but with proper preparation and strategy, it can be done. Here are step by step instructions on how to successfully complete this quest.
Step 1: Find and Tame a Giant Horse
To start this quest, you will need to find and tame a giant horse. The best place to look for them is in the Taobab Grassland area of Hyrule. This area located just northwest of Lake Hylia, and southwest of Kakariko Village.
Giant horses are large black horses with white manes, usually found roaming amongst standard horses. They are much faster than regular horses but also much more difficult to tame due to their fickle nature.
When attempting to ride a giant horse initially, you should approach it slowly from behind while carrying an apple as bait. Once close enough without alerting the horse, drop the apple on the ground next to it before quickly jumping on its back.
Step 2: Bring Your Giant Horse To The Misaeire Stable
Once you have successfully tamed your giant horse make your way towards Misaeire Stable that located northeast side of Hebra Great Summit.
You’ll only be able to register your new mount if it’s at full health—so keep its attention away from any hostile beasts during transport.
Step 3: Prepare for Riding Course Training
The riding course straight forward long run that will take several minutes or so…with Rock obstacles coming out in succession along with few bokoblins sprinkled here and there.
If possible upgrade Link’s Stamina Wheel at least once so that his horse can gallop longer distances. However most important part is increase bonding level between Rider Mount.Feeding apples consistently is one way.Battles fought together, the amount time spent together.Giant Horse has unique difficulty curve riders must experience at least bit such challenges before they become one.Additional tips include the use of multiple barriers that may help catapult Link and his mount over obstacles, or even time slowing techniques like Mipha’s Grace to help avoid hazards along the path.
Step 4: Complete The Riding Course
After entering into riding course with giant horse try to keep the galloping speed all time.Stacking two spurs initially is also a good option.Wherever there are tight turns, slowdowns are required, make sure not to endup banging your head against rock wall.Decrease speed by tapping [L] trigger when you want to slow down.
Remember ,While still mounted on your giant steed, you must make it through each fence within the given time goal, but if you miss 5 fences then attempt ends.So Try best pass all five gates on completion. You’re allotted about two minutes flat.
