Using our Bannerlord guides, you need to know where to look for сraft materials and how to pump your forging business. But let’s now figure out how to use a blacksmith shop in the game at all! In this guide, you’ll learn how to disassemble weapons and items.

You can go to the nearest town and use the local smithy at any time. All you need to do is to select the appropriate option on the city screen. And this is the very moment when the game will try to confuse you. By opening the menu and selecting “Melting” section, you can see an empty window. But do not worry. It’s just that you don’t have any items that you can melt right now. You can do it with almost all weapons, so now go hunting for robbers, after the destruction of which the game rewards you with prey. Collect as many weapons as possible and go back to the forge.

Select the desired section. Now you will see a whole list of available items. To melt any item, you will need 1 charcoal. In turn, charcoal is created from two pieces of wood. You can buy wood in the city or get it just by melting an object. Thus, if you have a couple of charcoals, focus on disassembling objects and weapons that will give you wood. In this case you can create some more charcoal and continue to disassemble things.

Eventually, your character will get tired. You’ll have to take a break to use the forge again. In this way, the developers seem to stop the process of endless pharma experience to improve the skill of blacksmithing. You will have to wait 1-2 days to continue working at the forge. You can even use the “Wait here for a while” function.
