Some doors in Baldur’s Gate 3 are locked and have infinite strength, which means you can’t break them. Until you find this key. Tell us about one of them.

There is a heavy oak door in the crypt of the ruins that Shadouhart speaks about. To open it, you need a key that can be found inside a stone sarcophagus. However, as soon as the key is opened, you activate a death trap. You need to know how to proceed.

How to open a heavy oak door in a crypt

As soon as you get to the crypt, look at the two doors: on the right and on the left.

There are several chests in the room – search them. To open the left door, you need to get an engraved key, which can be found in the room on the right.

What to do next:

Enter the room on the right.
In the middle you will see a sarcophagus in which the key is hidden. Do not touch it yet. Place objects on the air vents so that the slime does not come out. There are 6 such holes in total.
After that you can open the sarcophagus.
Take out the key and the sword.
Head for the heavy oak door at coordinates X: -294 Y: -288.
Use the engraved key to open the door. You may also find a button on the column in a room with a sarcophagus (if you have enough insight). Press it to stop the death traps.

You can search the coffin without closing the vents, but there is a strong possibility that you could die. When you open the coffin without closing the vents, there is slime that makes it difficult to move around. At this point, fire arrows begin to fly out of both sides of the room.

Together with the engraved key in the coffin you will find a rather powerful two-handed sword.
