The game has several classes that you can unlock. This tutorial on how to unlock all classes in Rogue Legacy 2 will tell you everything you need to know about the strengths and weaknesses of each class and how each class will unlock during the game.

List of all classes in Rogue Legacy 2

Rogue Legacy 2 is currently in very early access. Thus, there is currently a limited amount of content available in the game. We are not sure if this is the final list of classes, but probably more can be expected. Below is a list of all the classes that are currently available in the game:

Ranger (bow and arrow)
Barbarian (Labris)
The Magician (Wand and Magic)
Knight (Big Sword)

How to unlock all classes

You start the game with access to the Knight’s base class. The other three classes, Mage, Barbarian and Ranger, must be unlocked. Fortunately, this is a pretty fast process, and you can do it in just a few moves – depending on how much gold you get for each one. In the image above you can see the path you have to follow. Once you unlock Universal Health Star, you will be able to go to the next part of the tree and get a Ranger before moving on after Barbarian and Mage.

Class distinctions

Each class has strengths and weaknesses that you will need to learn if you hope to be lucky next time you pass Rogue Legacy 2. After you unlock all classes, you have a 1/3 chance that each class will appear at the beginning of your next race. Here is a list of strengths and weaknesses of each character:

The knight has the second largest starting health and has the advantage that he can pass through all attacks.

Low initial health and inability to move while shooting, but not a terrible choice for new players, as a long-range attack gives a certain level of security when first approaching new enemies.

Highest health of all available classes. Strong air attack, which strikes several times and very strong attack standing up. Restores mana only standing attack, so this is not a class with good access to mana, depending on your style of play.

The magician has the lowest starting health of all classes in the game. However, his basic attacks have a short range and generate 300% more mana than any other class. This allows them to succeed in magical combat, but it’s important to make sure that their spells are rolled up.

That’s all you need to know about all Rogue Legacy 2 classes.
