Last weekend GSC Game World studio visited Games Gathering Conference 2019 in Kiev, where the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 booth was located. Zakhar Bocharov, the new PR-manager of the game, and earlier the editor of DTF, who disclosed some information about the project, appeared at the booth.
In the video from the conference Bocharov thanked the modern community of original parts for the extension of the life of the game and also told that for the community of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 a mechanism for creating and distributing modifications will be prepared.
On Twitter, Zahar confirmed that GSC has no plans to implement the Lootbox system in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
In another video Bocharov said that the developers are “inspired by the original trilogy” and the game “will remain true to its spirit and atmosphere. More details about GSC will be available next year.
