Google has officially launched its Streaming platform Stadia, and so far it is not doing well. Reviewers report that the delay is huge, and now it turns out that the amount of data used by the platform is much higher than expected.

This time Google warns that the amount of traffic used per hour of play in 4K/60FPS can be up to 20 GB.

There was no information about the lower permissions, but some editions have tested Stadia in 1080p/60FPS mode and found out that the platform uses a little less – only 7 GB per hour.

This can be a problem for many players with download restrictions. For comparison, the amount of traffic consumed by Netflix in HD mode is only 3 GB per hour.

Let’s see what the competitor, Microsoft xCloud, has to say.
