The AMD Ryzen 7 4800H will be the top notebook chip from AMD. It will be launched along with other mobile processors this year. And now there are some leaks indicating how fast it will be.
The well-known data miner has accumulated an impressive result for AMD Ryzen 7 4800H in the Time Spy test from 3DMark. The Ryzen 4000 Series chip from the new Renoir APU family scored a total of 8,350 points, ahead of potential competitors such as Intel Core i7-9700K, which scored 8,209 points in the same test. It’s not far behind the 4800H, but it’s still behind.
The CPU Time Spy score looks like this: R7 4800H – 8350, R7 3700X – 10180, R7 2700X – 8600, R5 3600 – 7300, R5 3600 – 7150 and i7-9700K – 8200.
This is not the first test leak showing the new Ryzen mobile processors demonstrating impressive performance level. Earlier we also saw the U-variant of the future AMD chip which is a model with low power consumption. However, we must take this news carefully as nothing has been confirmed yet.
The fact that AMD is dedicated to Intel is not a secret. Advanced Micro Devices has turned the market leader’s position upside down.
For many years Intel dominated the market of processors, reaching a high estimation of its products. However with recent success AMD has made the market more competitive. In 2012, the company lost more than 1 billion dollars, which led to a loss of profit for the previous two years, and now the company is making more and more annual profits.
If the statistics are correct, Intel will have to work hard to maintain its position as AMD cannot be taken lightly. We just need to wait and see what Ryzen 7 4800H is capable of when it comes out in the next few months.
