Those who subscribe to monthly online access for Xbox One will traditionally receive free games as part of Games with Gold. We’ve already talked about what PS Plus subscriptions can do in January, so it’s Microsoft’s turn for console owners.
What’s going to happen in Xbox Gold in February 2020 – trying to guess
As usual, at first, there is a big game, which this time may become Thief 2014. You could have missed it in your time, so it would be a great opportunity to play a good stealth adventure, with excellent open-world mechanics. But the disadvantages of the game were enough: the plot and the missions themselves leave much to be desired. Thief was developed by Eidos-Montréal, which belongs to Square Enix, and its games (Hitman: Absolution, Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition) were already in Microsoft distribution.
Life is Strange.
Without getting off the train, Square Enix could share another game, Life is Strange, for distribution next month. Similar episodic games have already been included in Games with Gold, such as The Walking Dead or Batman from Telltale Games. What’s more, Life is Strange was already a part of PS Plus back in 2017, and as we know, the games from Sony are almost always included in Games with Gold.
