The update of Fortnite Joy Ride has just been released, which adds cars to the game, where you can drive on the map. However, all cars have one thing in common – all cars need to be refueled. In this guide we will tell you where to find all the petrol stations in Fortnite and how to fill the cars so that you can drive them longer.
The location of the petrol stations at Fortnite
To refuel your car, you need to look for a gas station. You can check your map for all Fortnite fuel station locations as shown in the screenshot below:
When you get to the petrol station, you will need to park your car or truck near one of the petrol stations. We’ll explain why later.
Get out of the car and interact with the petrol station by pressing X on Xbox One, Square on PS4 or E on your PC.
How to refuel your car at Fortnite
Turn to your car, press and hold RT / R2 / RMB to start pumping petrol into your car. That’s why you had to park close. You can only pull the fuel pump until it comes out of your grip. Once you’re close enough to your car, press and hold RT/R2/RMB, and you’ll see the percentage of fuel starts to rise slowly.
Wait until it reaches 100% and you are fully refueled.
Keep in mind that once the car reaches the bottom of the fuel level indicator while driving, it will stop completely and you will not be able to move on, so be sure to get to the petrol station before you do.
Gas stations are also incredibly explosive, and enemies are likely to take advantage of the huge damage they can cause you while you fuel your car at Fortnite. Before refueling, be sure to inspect the area to catch someone trying to ambush you. If you drive into one of the petrol pumps, they will also explode, preventing you from using them and potentially causing you damage.
