As you play in Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake, you will inevitably encounter key items called Mugle Medals. The game never tells you who they are or what they’re for, so if you’re wondering why, we’re here to explain. Here’s what you need to know about the Mugle Medals in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
What do you need Mugle medals for and where you can spend them in Final Fantasy 7 Remake?
First, you can find the Mughlov Medals almost anywhere in the world. In our experience, they were mostly found in the fragile Shinra boxes scattered all over Midgaru, and sometimes in treasure chests.
It is best to break down all the boxes you come across and eventually you will start collecting a large number of medals. You will not be able to use them until a little later in the game when you meet Iris and reach the slums of Sector 5.
Once here, just continue with the main story until you find a secret hiding place for the kids in the slums and you will find an NPC dressed as Mugle who will accept your medals. The NPC has a shop called Moogle Emporium where you can buy valuable items in exchange for medals.
